The Open Water Diver course is the entry-level certification that allows you to dive independently (up to 18 meters, depending on local regulations) anywhere in the world. It covers the skills, knowledge, and safety procedures needed for safe recreational diving.
Anyone aged 10 years and older can start the course. Young divers (10–14) receive a Junior Open Water Diver certification, which can be upgraded to a full certification once they turn 15. No prior diving experience is needed.
The course typically takes 3–4 days.
PART A - Theory lessons and Pool sessions and PART B open water dives.
London session PART A: compacted into one full day for intensive training.
Hampshire session PART A: spread over two days for a more relaxed pace.
PART B Spread over two days in lakes in the UK or at our dive centre in Spain.

Basic swimming skills: Comfort in water and the ability to swim 200 meters and tread water/float for 10 minutes.
Minimum age: 10 vears old.

By the end of the course, you’ll be a certified PADI Open Water Diver.
Once certified, you can:
Dive independently (up to 18 meters) anywhere PADI certifications are recognised
Progress to advanced courses like Advanced Open Water Diver or specialty courses
Join dive trips worldwide and explore exciting dive sites
