Ranging from Pulmonary
Barotraumas to Acute
Progressive Neurological
Decompression Illness, DELS
training ensures you do the
most for your dive buddy
prior to, and during their
evacuation by the most
appropriate method, to a
Category-1 Recompression
Chamber or A&E Emergency
Department.
All course material follows
the Generic Core Material of
the Faculty of Pre-Hospital
Care from the Royal College
of Surgeons, (Edinburgh).

Oxygen First Responder
Duration: 2
days
The
DELS Oxygen First
Responder is an
individual who has been
trained in the
administration of
emergency oxygen, basic
airway management with
adjuncts, haemorrhage
control and catastrophic
haemorrhage control with
adjuncts, as well as the
basic diagnostic
techniques for evaluation of the
injured diver.
The DELS Oxygen First
Responder will also be
able to administer Basic
Life Support in
accordance with current
European Resuscitation
Council Guidelines.
This course is ideal
for Rescue Divers, Divemasters and
Instructors who want to
extend their knowledge
of injured diver care
beyond the level covered
in the Rescue Diver
syllabus.
